Graduates of other universities should produce in addition to the certificates (in original) of examination passed, a treasury receipt for Rs. 100/- being the fee for registering the applicant as a matriculate of the Mahatma Gandhi University, the Migration Certificate and a treasury receipt for Rs. 150/-being the fee for considering the application for recognition of their qualifying examination. All special fee, tuition fee, and caution deposit are payable at the time of admission.

The elementary teacher education programme is meant for preparing teacher for elementary schools. (Primary and upper primary / middle).
Admission / Allotment of seats is governed by a Centralized Allotment Process.
Fee Schedule is fixed as per the norms of the Govt. / University.
Curriculum Transaction and number of working days is determined by the State Council of Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram – SCERT
Paper I – Psychological foundations of education
Paper II – Theoritical Social and historical basis of education.
Paper III – Learning of Mother tongue
Paper IV – Learning of English
Paper V – Learning of Mathematics
Paper VI – Learning of Basic Science
Paper VII – Learning of Social Science
Paper VIII – Learning of Art eucation, psysical education, work experience & I.T.
Written examination for paper I and II in first year and for the other papers in the second year. C.E. for all papers in first and Second year.
